It is a perfect combination of all nutrients which include 20 to 25% proteins, 40 to 47% starch, ash, fats, carbohydrates and essential vitamins. This Urad Dal is washed carefully and has the skin removed which gives it a creamy white colour and a milder flavour. Very easy and quick to make, the addition of different tadkas makes this dal flavourful and delicious.
